Amazon’s Black History Month Sponsorship with SheaMoisture and LIFEWTR

OVERVIEW

Amazon wanted to highlight and support Black History Month by amplifying Black voices. Amazon’s Custom Advertising and a cross-department partnership with the Cross-Channel Marketing team created Amazon’s first-ever Black History Month event to promote Black women entrepreneurs and Black artists.

I designed the Amazon sponsorship custom landing pages for SheaMoisture and LIFEWTR by using the brand guidelines set by the Cross-Channel Marketing team. I worked with their team to ensure that the style guide was being implemented correctly across my designs. Each landing page experience was crafted as an editorial to share the stories of Black Americans.

The LIFEWTR landing page featured Black Artists who were part of an artist series that designed the labels on LIFEWTR’s premium bottled water, while the SheaMoisture page showcased Cara Sabin, a Black woman entrepreneur. I built each landing page to link to each other, as well as redirect back to Amazon’s main Black History Month landing page. Additionally, I designed display media and Fire Tablet media placements for the campaign.
