OVERVIEW

To announce the two newest Nintendo games, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl, Nintendo launched an Amazon On Box Advertising campaign that targeted two different Pokémon audiences.

I designed the Amazon boxes for two different versions. One for the younger audience featuring lighter colors and the Pokémon starter characters, and the other box design for an older audience showcasing the legendary Pokémon on a darker background. I worked with the printer to ensure that all colors met brand guidelines and checked for registration. The box campaign exceeded Ad Awareness norms with 80% product awareness for the game title.

I designed the Amazon custom landing page which included an animated hero graphic that I created in Adobe After Effects, a shopping experience, exclusive downloads, game information, and My Nintendo Mission rewards. I added custom code to provide additional animations for the design. The landing page saw spikes in traffic due to media/social pickup.
