Sony Camera Campaign on Amazon.com
ROLE
UX / Mobile Design
CLIENT
Sony, created at Amazon
OVERVIEW
Sony’s presence on Amazon.com, which was originally built by the Retail team, faced challenges due to overwhelming information and a complicated customer experience. The original page was not mobile-optimized and the client had no insight into the metrics.
To address these issues, the Hardlines team at Amazon Advertising introduced a new lens/camera interactive journey. I conceptualized a user experience (UX) journey that guided the customer’s interactions with Sony’s products.
I improved the browsing experience by allowing customers to explore sample images captured by different lens/camera combinations. This feature empowered customers to make informed decisions based on real-life visual references.
Additionally, I designed a seamless mobile experience to enhance overall user engagement. I also designed a shopping feature that enabled customers to filter cameras and bodies based on their photography preferences.
Our objective was to transform Sony’s presence on Amazon.com into a visually appealing, user-friendly, and data-driven platform. These enhancements aimed to elevate the customer experience, provide valuable product metrics, and drive sales and satisfaction for Sony on Amazon.com.
